How do they work?
Unlike a regular sauna , that uses heat to warm up the air around you , infrared saunas use light to heat your body up. This means you get all the benefits of a sauna at a lower heat.
what should i wear?
You can wear lightweight shorts and t-shirt or a bathing suit .
What do they do?
Saunas increase body temperature , heart rate and increase sweating. This can help with lots of issues including
Keeping your white blood cell count up
Increase cell regeneration
Top up your immune systems
When should you use an infrared sauna?
It is a great way to relax your muscles after a work out however all times are a benefit to you , you only need to use the sauna for up to 30 minutes to feel the effects.
We suggest starting off slow and having a few session every other day for 15 – 20 minutes at first. Once your body has adjusted to this new process you can increase if you wish too.
Can Infrareds help with cold and flus?
YES ! At the beginning of a cold you should use the sauna as quickly as you notice your symptoms. The sauna can help set up your immune system for a quicker recovery.
