What is Be Activated ( Activation Therapy)?

Activation therapy (‘Be Activated’) is a specialised and powerful tool within the physiotherapy framework which involves deep, localised massage to neurolymphatic congestion points within the muscles and fascia to return the individual back to optimal health and function.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM MY FIRST SESSION?

Your therapist will go through a confidential questionnaire with you to assess your needs. You will the lie down fully clothed on a bench and the therapist will start your treatment.

Muscle testing is used to assess where the weaknesses are for you. Next your body is activated to breathe correctly so you can effectively oxygenate all your cells. Then, techniques are applied through a sequence and the relevant muscles are retested after each point. The results in strength and flexibility are dramatic and easily measurable and this allows your muscles and structures to return to their correct movement patterns.

Tight muscles are released and weak muscles are strengthened. Tone is normalised which allows you to work at full capacity and with full energy. Pain is decreased, physical performance is improved, bodily systems are reconnected and you will have an improved feeling of wellbeing.
